Today, Decker Construction is a commercial contracting company located out of Northern and Central New Jersey. We specialize in the turnkey installation of cutting-edge electronic signage, digital billboards and large scale video boards. But our history goes back almost 50 years.

A history of service

The construction business is nothing new to the Decker Family. Jerry Decker Sr. started his career in the electrical field back in 1954. Jerry is a very honorable man who enlisted and served in the United States Army during World War II.

Throughout the years of raising his family, Jerry introduced his three sons Jerry, Kim and Kurt to the electrical trade. Jerry Jr. has pursued a successful career in the insurance industry, while Kim and Kurt seized the opportunity to grow the family business. And grow it they have.

In 1988 Kim and Kurt incorporated the business under Decker Electric, Inc. The corporation has specialized into a broad scope of contracting services over the past twenty-three years.

The majority of our services are provided in Northern and Central New Jersey. We have two operations, one located in East Rutherford New Jersey and the second out of Bradley Beach New Jersey.
