Decker Construction is an S corporation owned and operated by Kim and Kurt Decker. Their office staff out of Bradley Beach takes care of all administrative, estimating and project management responsibilities Local workers are hired to complete all service and contracted work.

Founder – Gerald Decker

Jerry is not only an inspiration and role model to his family but to all Americans. Jerry enlisted to serve in the United States Army during World War II. Being recently married to Beatrice Aschcroft he had many obstacles to overcome. Jerry’s only time off from his three years in the service was to be present for the birth of the couple’s first child Gerald Jr. Over his service time Jerry fought in five major campaigns that assisted the United States to victory. The campaigns were: Central Europe, Northern Europe, Northern France, Battle of the Bulge and Normandy. In September of 2008 Jerry was awarded the Bronze Star. The Bronze Star is awarded to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who displayed bravery, acts of merit, or meritorious service. After the war Jerry settled down in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey where he and his wife reside today. Throughout that time Jerry raised five kids, which has developed into a very large family. The successful electrical business Jerry started and operated paved the way for Decker Construction which was founded in 1988.

Kim Decker

For over the past thirty-six years Kim has worked in the construction field. Kim is very dedicated and focused on continually increasing the size of Decker Construction. Kim has a strong interest in renewable energy. He feels the implementation of renewable energy will assist the longevity of our country and world. In his free time Kim enjoys the comfort of family and friends in his hometown of Bradley Beach, New Jersey.

Kurt Decker

Kurt has been in the construction field for the past thirty-one years. Prior to his time at Decker Electric he spent a couple of years working in the development of mentally challenged adults. Although Kurt saw tremendous satisfaction and success he decided to partner up with his brother to form Decker Construction. In Kurt’s free time he enjoys the comfort of his family and friends in his hometown of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey
